I have never read a Dawkins book. Does this mean I'm not an atheist according to fundies?

You don't have to have read any books to be without god. A disbelief or as I prefer to call it no belief in a god or gods is called atheism. There is no need to disrespect Dawkins, as there is no need to disrespect religious people. A person either believes or does not believe, after which all else is open to personal or group interpretation.
