How to make JPEG Image a Smaller Size?

There's a slice and cut function in PS. First slice up your design into pieces the way how you want them to reemble back in a pagemaker program like Dreamweaver, then export the PS file as website page. PS will optimize the pictures for you if you choose JPEG format. However there's certain limit to what JPEG compression technique can do, but most of time JPEG is the best option for putting a large picture online.
