Need help choosing a good scope...?

i currently own ,308 and i've been looking at reviews to find a good scope i want to have a 3x9 variable illuminated scope i've bought and used scopes for varmint rifles and etc....; but not any big game guns i just didnt want to get one that when i shot my rifle the recoil would knock off the zero
