My truck is firing on 3 cyl out of 4cyl ?

I have a 96 toyota tacoma only has 160000 miles on it I was driving it slowley when it started sputtering and the check engine light came on Im pretty good with trucks but stumped so i pulled the plugs one by one they 3rd cyl is the one not firing but it gets spark and has full compression in the cylinder the injecter is spraying because you can smell gas that is rich does anybody know of a common problem on these trucks like this 96 toyota tacoma 2.7 liter 4 cylinder Not 22re engine?????
