Android 3.0 confusions.?

Hello.I need some authentic information about android 3.0 OS specifically optimized for tablets.I am undecided as to which tablet should i buy, a windows 7 slate or an android 3.0 tablet like motorola xoom or the upcoming lg g slate?The thing which i wanna know is if i am surfing the innernet on an android 3.0 honey comb tablet, will i be able to download software from the innernet, software like video converters, internet download manager, divx movie player, torrents etc etc.I am asking this kauz i want a tablet which has the capability to download stuff from the innernet.I am not sure if an android 3.0 tablet will be able to do that.This is one major confusion that is holding me back from buying an android 3.0 tablet.If an android 3.0 tablet can download every thing from the innernet then i will buy it in a heart beat.I really need some detailed info on this.Thanks.
