I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and we have a ball phython. I have been getting a lot of crap from my kids grandparents about having a snake around my kids. He has never bit them or even striked at them and he just crawls on them and does his own thing when we take him out. 6 yr old whines & pouts?

My 6 yr old son seems to be behind in his emotional development. If he falls down he screams REALLY loud and for a long time. I wore a suit to the 2nd interview, but since this one is over coffee, I"m not sure what to do. Is the Law of Attraction complete cadswallap?? did it work for you? did you read 'the Secret'?

I have had a good life, but a year ago decided after reading 'The Secret' as recommended by a friend, to use the Law of Attraction to bring more good things into my life. I never really used to consciously focus on being 'positive' and having 'creative visualisations' and things were fine, but I thought well I'll use the tools in the Law of Attraction and see if I can make my life better. I really believed it, I truly did, even when things started to go wrong I believed it was all for the greater good and the Universe would get me where I wanted in the end, I just had to be patient. Now over a year later here I sit in totaly poverty at my wits end as so much has gone wrong over the past year like I can't begin to tell you. I feel so angry that I was sucked into that nonsense and truly believed it so much, I have never had so many awful things happen, I am really in a hole and not sure how I am going to get out of it - maybe the first thing I should do is burn that book!!

Back in November my Neurologist wanted to try me on a new medication. The medication would have some side effects that would effect my memory a bit, but I did not know to what extent. Because I work in a kitchen I told my boss and my coworkers about the drug and what to expect. I thought I would get a bit of understanding from my boss. I work in a medical facility. Instead, she is trying to discredit me and trying to make me look like I am making many more mistakes than I am actually making. Blaming me for things that i did not do! I do not have a choice. My ankles hurt when i run?

I have recently started running, and have been going about 4-5 times a week, not for long runs, but doing a few laps of our local football field. The past couple of weeks, i have noticed my ankles really hurting when i run, and after i run, lasting a few days. Its quite painful, and is preventing me from running longer distances. Its not my trainers rubbing on my skin or anything like that, its like the muscle on the outside of each ankle, below the knuckle bit of my ankles (sorry dont know what its called) I have just got back just now, i couldn't run far, as they were extremely painful, and have noticed swelling on each foot, more so on my left ankle, feels like fluid stuff. Im not sure what is causing this, my boyfriend thinks tat it could be my trainers, they are just cheap running trainers, and i have low arched feet, which im told should be supported with better footwear when running? Could anyone please give me any clues as to what else this could be? Is it down to my cheap trainers and low arched feet? And what can i do to prevent this in future? Thanks

When I took my seat, one of my clmates behind me kept on complaining she couldn't see the stage and my head was "too big" and some other things (I'm a calm person so it didn't really bother me). ok so for ever civilian in the united states, that walks into a video game store, you will noticed the walls filled with video games ranging from disney games, to shooter games on platforms like Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, xBox360, and PLaystation 3, have you noticed when you play those games on the system hooked up to the tv, that you feel somewhat independent, like its just quiet, theres no interaction , however in the last comming years they have progressed to the systems like the xBox360 and Playstation 3, making them more interactive friendly with the "Wi-Fi connect" features for the video game, which is still a long shot from games , like Runescape, World of Warcraft, GaiaOnline, second life, sims, oblivian, etc all those games you log in with a Username & Pword , once u log in you start out in a virtual world basically the game never ends there is always something to do in the game do to the fact it always being updated with new things to do in the game, and ontop of that the best part is you dont feel alone!, there are thousands of players online that you can see infront of you, and you dont have to wear a silly headset you can just a type to them. I no this is like a questions thats like"ummmm use a computer" but what i want to no is will they make video game systems like xBox360, Playstation 3, and handheld systems like DS , into a complete Online video Gaming system or handheld , basically my vision of the future i would love is " you go into any local video game store, you can choose thousands of games to buy , just like you can do today, you would still use the disk or cartridge to put into the handheld or system but instead of just hitting your usual load game or new game there is a start page that says " Username" below it will say "Pword" and below that "Login" once you type in your information you are set in the virtual wold like runecape on your tv, or in the palm of your hands like a DS today, but instead of just a handful of online games "MMO" there will be new MMO's every week, every month just like they make video games today, online difference is you get the most out of your buck, the game never ends as each game u buy could last you forver sence the endless amount of gameplay and the intercative friendly chatting with other players. Basically what i want is every single video game to be a MMO because its never boring theres always people around you your never alone, and if you like the game it will never end. so every game out there in the future will be an mmo from Disneys cars 2- Transformers 3, Spiderman 4, and then from movie games to shooter games then games like zelda,pokemon, dragonballz, mario, etc call the games would be MMO meaning that once you get on there is no end to the game i think people would really like it for the fact that there would always be something to do on just one single game. I'm 8 months pregnant with my third child. My other two were fed, which is what I plan on doing with this one. I've started leaking the colestrum, which is what feeds the abby the first few days until my milk comes in. It's supposed to be really good for the baby, full of antibodies to protect the baby against things in the environment that I've developed immunities against. It seems to me, and i'm by no means smart or anything, but it seems like this good stuff is going to waste since i'm leaking it out now. Is my tarantula molting, or dying?

I know that tarantulas molt on their backs, and that they look like they're dead, when molting. What I don't know is how long the actual molting phase takes place? My "Lucinda" went on her back last night sometime around 9 or 10 (as far as I know, it could have been earlier). I got up this morning hoping to see my new little spider and her old cuticle, but she's still on her back. I've been misting her cage more than usual to keep humidity up. When I mist, sometimes I'll hit her directly by mistake and one of her legs will move. I'm also worried about the two times the water has made her move. What should my friend do?

A friend of mine is pregnant with a baby that she doesn't want. She doesn't want to have an abortion because that is wrong and completely out of the question. Also she doesn't want the baby to go to a foster home or adopted by a family that will mistreat the baby. She wants to give the baby to another friend of hers that she trusts to take care of the baby and she will still be able to visit as a friend, but never be introuced to the child as its mother. Can she just sign over costody to her friend or does she have to put the baby up for adoption? And also, what about the friend that is going to adopt the baby. What can i due about an inaccurate police report?

I was recently involved in an accident where i was riding my bike and a driver pulled out of his driveway and without looking or stopping hit me. While I was at the hospital the officer never bothered to get my side of the story and basically said that I hit the car from the side and threw my bike under the car. Now the insurance companies are using that report to screw me and have already thrown the case out. I now have to pay for all the hospital bills and my impending acl surgery that I suffered from the accident. On top of that I have to pay for the tow truck that had to come remove my crushed bike from under the car because no one could pull it out. There is no way I can afford any of this. Is there anything I can due? Maybe sue the officer himself? Also although there were no witnesses to the accident there are witnesses that heard the officer telling the driver that even though there are no stops signs on driveways he has to stop and look so accidents like this don't happen.

Should I return the diamond rings I bought?

I bought 2 diamond rings on sale at Macys. I am a compulsive shopper and can't resist a deal. I bought them whereby I can pay them off in 24 months which will come to $388 month. I can swing it but I am so guilty keeping the rings. I have two days to decide whether to bring them back. I have very bad depression and therefore I have a problem making decisions. My fuel pump is not working........why?

first thing that id check is pull a plug out of your motor and put it into the plug wire boot to see if you are getting spark...if you are then its a fuel/air problem... next id pull the fuel like off and turn the key on if u have an electric fuel pump u should get some fuel or try to turn it over to see if some fuel sprays out while the line is off...then trace it back to find your problem. if no fuel is coming out id check the fuel filter first...it may be clogged...you could pull the line off the filter (side closest to the tank and pump) doing the same steps as before to see if fuel comes out. in not then check the connections on your pump to make sure its getting juice if it is and the pump is working but still no fuel then its in the tank or a clogged fuel like....in the gas tank there is a sock like cover on the end of the fuel pick-up sometimes they get clogged or rot away and clog themselves in the pick up esp in older vehicles.... i always took them off and just ran 2 fuel filters one before and after the fuel pump depending upon where it was. Computer monitor problems?

My Computer monitor is an Envision crt Monitor, the monitor will work fine for a bit and then no matter what im doing it would make a buzzing/staticy noise and the picture will be all scrambled up, like vertical and horizontal lines, if i let it run a bit longer it will go completely black and i have to turn off my monitor for a bit, then turn it back on

All those suggestions still don't get at the root of the problem. Private health insurance companies charge way too much for the service they provide because they have a high overhead. To maintain profits they have to be selective about who they insure, and this leaves too many people out, and those people are dealt with with public money....the 'taxes' that the GOP has such a problem with. Private insurance companies charge forty three cents per premium dollar to cover overhead and profit. Medicare charges three cents per premium dollar for the same thing. If 'competition' would lower costs that would be nice, but lowering costs wouldn't lower the price to the customer. Lower overhead would mean more profit per premium dollar. Certainly folks should be able to write off ALL medical expenses, but should apply to Medicare as well....lowing the cost per insured that much more. Medicare isn't 'free' as some people believe Medicare Part A and Part B costs about $1500 a year per insured, but it's WAY less than ANY commercial insurance. The republicans are fronting for the health insurance industry..an industry that doesn't want to lose its cash cow. Understandable, but their business is causing way too many people way too much expense and grief. It's time for something new and that can only be some form of Medicare for all. Times have changed, somehow the republicans don't see that.

so my daughters father has been in jail for a month now, due to violating an order of protection which was honestly unfair considering he didnt do ANYTHING to me...now, I went to his first court date because I was subpeaned but I expressed to the DA I do not fear him and i never requested an order of protection to begin with. I also let her know that he is an important part of our family, he is a great father, has a good job, and this situation is potentially destroying our family and lives, i requested that the order be dropped. Instead she offered him 3 years probation, a 52 week program and a 5 year order of protection...he refused this offer, and now im not sure exactly what my options are. He has court this monday and its on for non jury trial...him being incarcerated is destroying everything we worked so hard for and I know that I cannot get help from the DA. [we live in NY]...i havent received a subpeona for monday but i moved so maybe its at my prior address, now...can anyone help me get some clarity?

Okay so I'm 41 and I had been with my ex boyfriend since I was about 14 and we've known each other since we were about 12. I see marriage as just a piece of paper so we never got married but we were committed to each other and we were together seriously, not off and on, I mean it was like we were married. I was told by several doctors that I'd never have children and I don't want children so we never had any kids and things were pretty great for years. He would then bring up all the things we could have did years ago that we don't have time for now which was odd because he's not the type of guy that's stuck in the past. We began drifting more and more apart and spending less and less time together over the years. One day we had this stupid fight and he was about to leave and I just said who was she. I had not even thought he could be cheating until the moment I said it. He said that he wasn't cheating but that I was selfish because our whole relationship was based off what I wanted. I told him bulls*** and how in the hell he had come to that conclusion and he said that he gave up a lot to be with me getting married, having kids, and a bunch of other things I thought didn't matter to him. I told him he chose to give up those things and that I didn't force him to and he told me that he was tired of him giving me so each and me giving nothing and I said that he could leave then. We didn't talk for a few days and I moved all my stuff out of the house. I was so angry at him, I mean how could he blame me for that? After we cooled down we talked and decided that if we wanted to save our relationship, we needed a break so I officially moved out to a town about an hour away just to get away from it all. We decided not to talk at all after a month because all we did was fight. Over the next 8 months, I reflected on us and I realized that he was right about some things and that I was being selfish. During that time, I kept hearing that he was sleeping with a co-worker but I didn't want to believe it until I finally called him after 8 months. He was happy to hear from me and we had lunch. I confronted him about the rumor and he said that a) he had slept with her and b) it was time to end us. I asked why and he said "because I have something more important in life to worry about now.
